For what it's worth - A letter to myself:
You've always been special, even when you didn't understand why.
Although you never got to witness it, you were truly born a miracle.
You've always had a big personality, although everyone thought you were shy.
You felt insecure for so long, not realizing that you could choose otherwise.
You have always tried to do good, even when you made bad decisions.
You've learned more than you expected to, even though you felt dumb sometimes.
Your hours struggling with staying quiet taught you that not everything needs a response.
Being lonely showed you that everybody needs somebody.
You were always beautiful, even though you thought others didn't think so.
You've always been the best at being yourself.
Performing as characters helped you learn that you only need to be one person.
You haven't always had the talents you've longed for, but you still have things that make you unique.
Nobody is better than anyone else.
You didn't need an abundance of friends to feel needed.
Those boys that made you sad didn't deserve your attention, and that's a good thing.
You always had people supporting you, even when you weren't there for them.
Even though your family isn't what you expected, the years you spent with them were worth the world.
You never needed the approval of others.
Your hardest days taught you that fighting accomplishes nothing.
You've made it through some tough nights, and you're still breathing.
Your physical afflictions can't consume you, no matter how difficult they seem.
Every relationship you've been a part of has helped you, even if you can't see how.
You never needed to go with the popular opinion, because your thoughts are valid.
The risks you took changed you for the better.
Not everyone will love you or understand you, and that's okay.
No matter how much you want to, you can't fix everything.
Your quirks aren't an annoyance.
Your appearance isn't a problem or an issue.
The things you love should be celebrated.
Losing people showed you how important love is.
You've made it this far, and you will continue.
For what it's worth, you are worth everything.
