Day 5 of Saint George started out with a drive. We were going shopping, and while we were in the car I noticed that the clouds were reflecting the red/orange from the rocks. This picture doesn't really show how cool it looked, but I thought it was super pretty. Even more evidence of the incredible work that was put into creating this earth.
Sidenote: I can't believe how hard it is to find modest shorts. Even in Utah. Someone give me suggestions please.
After shopping we stopped by Costa Vida. The nachos are heavenly. {If you don't take pictures of your food at restaurants, did you really go?}
Later on we went bowling. The thing with bowling is for me it can either go extremely well, or not. A hit or miss. This time it was a miss. Take a moment and appreciate bowling shoes please.
We went to Texas Roadhouse afterwards, and we picked the luckiest day to go. We arrived right after a party of SEVENTY. But it was still worth it.
I feel like most people just go there just for the rolls. I'm really not wrong, though.
Spending time away from school was so nice and much needed. I know sometimes my family doesn't get along, but there are some moments that make me remember how good life really is.
It can be something as simple as enjoying listening to each others comments while watching Restaurant Impossible, or something bigger like laughing and joking with each each other while hiking Zions.
Either way I have to stop myself and remember that this is all God's work. I wouldn't have a life at all (literally) without God. I'm thankful that I can appreciate the beauty of life through eyes that have seen the miracles of our Heavenly Father. I genuinely hope that whoever is reading this is having a wonderful time. Remember who put you here on this planet.
