Idaho, Washington, & Lots of Clouds.

We drove up to Northern Idaho with my dad a few weeks ago. We camped about 3 minutes from this gorgeous lake. It's called Spirit Lake. Our friends, the Christensens keep their trailer right next to the lake, so we spent two days relaxing and adventuring there.

As soon as we arrived, Brandon and Ben got right in the water. They spent hours upon hours playing & splashing in the lake.

Cute face, Heather.

I miss this guy. I was planning on posting this before he left to the MTC, but now that it's been a few weeks, he's gone and I miss him.

It was honestly just so gorgeous. I really loves taking pictures, so this post will mostly just be my photos from the trip.

We went boating, and that was really fun. Scary, but fun. I felt like I was going to fall off of the tube and die, but I made it.

We did wake surfing, and it was so cool to watch! Basically, you get on a little surf board and stand up, and then once you're ready,  you let go of the rope, and surf the wake! It was so fun to watch, the whole time my dad was just telling Dad Jokes and explaining how he was a professional. (Riiiight.)

It was really beautiful seeing pine trees against a lake. It was something I'd never experienced before! It's a lot different than the ocean or Utah Lake or Lake Powell.

This is my step-brother, Ben. I'm lucky to have such a sweet boy for my new brother. Look at that smile! He's definitely going to get the ladies when he's older.

Nice, dad.

Ben couldn't wake surf by himself, so he went with our friend Kirt. It was so cute watching him, at one point he just stepped right off into the water, and we laughed about it for a long time.

This picture was taken while I was laughing because I was pretending Haley was a cat. And that's all that I have to say about that.

Even though Haley and I argue, I really do love her.

When I was sitting out on the boat looking at the trees, I was reminded how all things prove that there is a God. Trees grow upward, they always point towards the heavens. It makes me really happy that nature can bring such great feelings of peace.

I'm grateful for the love and comfort that nature and family can bring into my life.
