We all have bad days, but there is hope! These are my secrets to being happy...
1. Turn on some good music. Music that associates with good memories always helps me. Stay tuned for a post about my top favorite happy songs. ;)
2. Eat something healthy. We all know how tempting it is to sit and eat junk when you are sad, (I'm guilty of this.) but it's so worth it to eat healthy. Cooking something fun and challenging also helps you concentrate on other things beside being sad.
3. Exercise! There are 3 types of people in this world, 1) people who love exercise, 2) people who hate exercise, and 3) people like me who have a love/hate relationship with exercise. »Self Explanatory« But as Elle Woods says, ”Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy, and happy people don't kill their husbands.”
4. Get outside and do something. Call up some friends to go to a movie, do some shopping, try something new, or just spend some alone time at the library reading your favorite nerdy book! Get your mind off of your feelings.
5. Dress up! We all secretly love to dress up. Dress to impress. Girls!! You are all lovely human beings, don't be afraid to show off sometimes! But remember to respect yourself.
