I've been missing Emma a lot lately. She is always there for me, cheering me up, or making my day. Even when I'm being dumb she helps me figure things out.
I'm really glad that I got to spend freshman year with her. It was a rough year, but she made school worth it.
She is such a strong person. I love this photo because during this trip she had to deal with a lot of physical issues, but you can see that she tried to make the best of it & kept her smile.
This picture was from my dad's wedding. It was a hard day for me, but she helped me so much & kept me calm & let me express my feelings without judging me. She is such a kind person.
That bag next to her is a huge part of her life. Emma has type 1 diabetes, and was diagnosed this year. I think that even though she has had to deal with such a big trial, it's made her into a different person who is a wonderful example to everyone. She can overcome mountains of difficulties!
Emma also has a great sense of humor. (as you can see from these pictures.) She's always great at turning a frown upside down.
We're different in a lot of ways, but that's what makes our time together better. She has so many strengths and good qualities.
Emma is such a beautiful person, inside and out. I read a quote about how if we could see souls instead of just people, we would judge differently. Emma has a truly lovely soul, and if you get the opportunity to see some of it, your life will be blessed.
I'm truly grateful for the friend that she has been to me. I love you Emma.
